edamo, GMoore and Uncle Frank, Thanks for wading in on my post. Call me unsophisticated if you will, but I buy and hold. If it comes to a point where the market goes against one of my selections I still have time on my side if I believe in the fundamentals of the company. My few attempts to gain maximum advantage by using options did not work out for me. Might be because I didn't truly understand the mechanics or just ran out of time, but I don't go to the casinos and play the games because I either don't have the stomach for it or I want something tangible to hang on to after I spend my money. Same thing for me and stocks. I wish you good luck with your investing strategies. Ultimately you may show a greater return on your efforts. However for me, I will continue to B&H. sunny
