Company Press Release
21st Century Technologies Announces That the Testing of the Sea Patch by a Major Oil Company Is Complete
FORTH WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 31, 1999--21st Century Technologies Inc. (OTC BB:TEXN) today announced that the Sea Patch has completed extensive testing by a major oil company.

After weeks of extensive testing, the sea patch has outperformed all previous expectations. It has been tested against a variety of surfaces, including scale, welds and uneven plates and has performed above all expectations. With each purchase of a sea patch an aluminum sealed carrying case will be provided to prevent any possible long-term UV degradation of gasket material.

This system utilizes a magnet technology that is patented by Los Alamos National Laboratory and is designed to stop leaks in hulls of ships. The maritime industry is struggling with environmental issues that are so prevalent in today's society.

Trident Technologies Corp. will be attending the Chemical Emergency Preparedness and Prevention Conference on Sept. 20-23, 1999, at the Hilton Washington Towers in Washington, D.C., and the Maritime Legislation, Regulation and Policy Conference held on Sept. 22-23 at the Washington Marriott Hotel.

21st Century Technologies will be handing out its brochures and educating the maritime officials on the benefits of its product regarding environmental safety. Environmental leaks are a huge concern of the EPA and 21st Century Technologies, and the company has designed this product with this in mind.

''We are sure that with all of this exciting news as well as the overwhelming positive response from the shipping industry, that we have great things to come,'' stated the chairman, Ken Wilson.

Financial Statements in this news release other than historical facts are ''forward-looking'' statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933 as amended, Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as amended, and as that term is defined in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. The company intends that such statements about its future expectations, including future revenues and earnings, and all other forward-looking statements (i.e., future operational results and sales) involve risks and uncertainties and are subject to change at any time.
