What's the general rule of thumb on moving up in strike price on CC's when a stock has run up and will at least maintain the present level ?

I sold CS AB's in May for $4.5 when the stock price was at $12 and the RSI was at 80. The stock has run to $16.25 and looks like it will maintain at or above $15 through the experation date. My goal is to not lose my shares, not take a loss and if possible raise some cash. CS AB's are selling for about $6.75 ( ie. $2.25 net loss ). CS AW's are selling for about $3 which would cover my loss on the AB's with a little left over and if called I've raised my take out price from $14.5 to $20( net 17.75 ).

Make sense ?

Thnx for any help,

Mike

I'm not using duo monitors with Windows-98.

Herm, I think you are missing a lot of fun not running second
monitor. The I/O PCI card is free (well you have to go thru' the rebate). You can get a whole bunch of charts/whatnots on the 19"
second monitor. It loads automatically. The mouse glides smoothly from one monitor to other. Nice!!!! Get lots of memory. 128mb is ok, 256 is Better.

Have a good day,

/jw

Hey Herm:

must be nice to be able to "build" your own machine . As for me, I think I'd better stick to my kind of building . . . the kind where you use a hammer" . Although there have been times that I have been tempted to display my "expertise" (with my hammer) ON my computer (during lock-ups, freezes, etc)

Anyway, 2 things:
1) another update on guard dog. got a security warning last nite while on line . . . that I had (somewhere in the background) some kind of active program ON MY COMPUTER trying to access internet with one of my charge card numbers . Did I want to stop it? Heck yes FIDO, sick 'em. What sort of things can one inadvertently pick up on the web that can access your private info. and head out your back door to the internet like a homing pigeon? Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.
2) just wanted your opinion on PWAV. iqc.com oct 40's?
earnings in oct. looks like majority OI @45 . chart looks like it's too late to join the party?
