Collectible Concepts Group Announces Private Placement

DOYLESTOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 31, 1999--Collectible Concepts Group Inc. (CCGR) (OTC BB:CCGR) Tuesday announced that the company plans to raise additional capital through a "best efforts" offering of private equity placement of common stock.

The "best efforts" offering is targeted to raise $250,000 in funds, with CCGR reserving the right to raise the offering to $500,000.

Proceeds of the offering are intended to be used for working capital, the purchase of additional key licenses and acquisitions.

Commenting on the planned transaction, Jeffrey Andrews, CFO at CCGR said, "The offering will greatly enhance expansion of the company, as we continue to pursue strategies that will enable CCGR to grow both internally and through acquisitions."

The private placement is being managed and executed by Bryn Mawr Investment Group Inc. (BMIG), an independent investment firm based in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
