Rob: Latest from the Rodney file. Special issue of Forbes (Their big annual interactive money guide) arrived today. It has a big box entitled "E-bills are coming" on page 42. Chase, FTU, Wells, Citi, Transpoint, ONE, EDS, Yahoo, Paymybill.com, and Billserve.com ALL mentioned. CKFR nowhere to be found. Charlie

Rob, You've really got me thinking ("You've got money!"). Think about this.... I've heard many stories about consumers that contact their lawn guy about asking him if he would accept a payment from "CheckFree". The response is often the same. Lawn guy: "Oh, a lot of people pay me using CheckFree" (CheckFree's name is all over those Checks that have been sent for payments). CheckFree's Brand name is more well known than I originally thought. Now, how hard would it be the next time they mail out some Checks to this guy to include a little insert saying "Sign up at xxx.com website and receive all your payments electronically", "You'll get your money faster!" With OFX downloads, deposited in the account of your choice, Yada, Yada, Yada. CheckFree will increase their electronic reach to 70%, increase exposure on the business side of the transaction, open new opportunities with these business, etc., Am I on the right track Rob?
