My my. Another "accidental" early release. How many accidents does it take before you start getting the idea it's accidental on purpose? 11:56 ET NAPM Index : the key NAPM index was released a day early (apparently a mistake). The index rose to 54.2% in August from 53.4% in July. Of more concern to the bond market will be the price index, which rose to 59.8% from 54.7%. Though the price index is still well below the 80+% levels seen back in 1994, the rising trend in this index is a concern to the Fed, and the bond market has reacted accordingly, with the 30-year now trading down 12 ticks to 6.06% from an unchanged reading before the NAPM.
