after having been there in active pursuit of the elusive dinero in the Bean market
(this list holds for all bushel commodity goods)
several MAJOR differences come to mind ....

speed of order execution
liquidity
volitality
spread between bid/ask
price move can be affected by a relatively small number of contracts

all of these and more items, too, are very inter-related, but have moved me to the spoos as my favored instrument of trade.

A good example of these factors coming into play can be observed on the Globex trading ...
totally different spoo market than during "normal market" in the day .....
