Ed, So now were sliding into "high stakes poker" eh? ;-) Seriously, I use to have real time quotes and a five day chart might just as well have been a millenium old (amazing how impatient I became.) Since then I've been disciplining myself to focus more long term. So when you say <<One has to ask themselves,which is more germane,the past or the present?>> a lot of it is relevant to a person's own time horizon. Mine is slowly stretching out, that is the only way I can bring some rational to an otherwise chaotic-appearing market. Good luck this afternoon..gotta' go get what little hair I have left trimmed.
