So far, Freishtat says, VerticalOne can pull account information from 20 online brokers and major banks, including Bank of America, Chase Manhattan, Citibank, First Union, and Wells Fargo. If it gains enough momentum, "eventually, most of the economic benefit will come from [fees paid by] banks, credit-card companies, and brokerage houses" instead of from advertising, Freishtat says

Oh yeah, banks will be lining up to pay these fees to verticalOne, just like they like to pay for EBPP.
