Your oldest started kindergarten and already scored 64% on the purity test? Impressive! I wonder if they'll test again at the end of the year.

Very glad to hear the rehab went well.

Oh, the first day of kindergarten. What a wrenching moment, watching your nestling take those first steps away from you. My "baby" just woke up, 1:30 p.m., and told me he needs a new alarm clock. We are in for fierce, grumpy children when school starts next week.

We do have a contract on a house, maybe third time is the charm. Home inspection on Friday, I don't expect anything major to go wrong, and we're pre-approved on the financing. So, this should be it. I am not in love with the house, so I am not making a big deal over it, but it's a good house. At least all the bedrooms are on one floor, so I can make sure the kids don't turn on their lights after the adults go to sleep, as they seem to have been doing. Closing 8/20/99, I'll have to drive 15 miles each way to take Nick to school in the morning, and pick both of them up in the afternoon until we move in.
