Sub-$999 could mean $899, $799, $699, $599, $499; don't stake your reputation as a prognosticator, Mr. D, on Sigma's inability to combine price with technical superiority. They can and will. It's a quantum jump from "users with tons of home videos" to business and educational video authors. In any case, Sigma will have the product out in Sept.-Oct. and reviewers will have ample time to fix the standard by which the ATI-Cube effort can be measured. Your cynicism is better suited to the Cube board where the real experts over there regularly eat your technical lunch.
