Lee,

I'm not familiar with index options. Playing the QQQ options is as close as I've gotten. I'll have to get you to explain in more detail or recommend some reading.

Any guesses regarding which way the 3:00 express is headed?

Matt

Lee,

I just read your story about having a bad fill on oex calls.
Awhile back I made a real big mistake with a trade that cost alot of money due to placing a market order in a market that I couldnt watch. I wanted to buy some puts for about 1 1/4 or something. I figured I would go to maybe 2 for the puts but that's it ... so for some reason back then I decided I wanted in the stock and couldn't watch the open and so placed the order as a market order. Options market opens ~10 mins after reg. market. The stock flew down to the low of the day got in at 5 5/8 and then it flew back up. Needless to say I had a huge loss from that trade and I dont think I will again place a market order if I'm not sitting and watching the quotes.
