Tony...I would agree covered calls on Qualcomm, for anybody who wants to be long for awhile, is risky bizness. Selling puts has seemed great of late, and looking at whatever the current trading range might be, to play it totally safe one might sell puts just below the current trading range, so even if it retrenches, you're likely to be safe...and again, if worst came to worst, if you wouldn't mind being put qualcomm for the next ride up...
