Losing on my QCOM position, but my inut longs are helping. Everyone knows the last 5 minutes was window dressing in the extreme.

Didn't anyone notice the complete divergence between the naz and the dow in the last hour? It won't hold. I'm going to take my AMZN profits in the morning after the split. I still say market overall goes down tomorrow.

BTW- the premium on my QCOM puts didn't budge at all as it went from 185 to 192 in the span of 10 mins. All the premium is still there.. (thanks for small favors)

Customers Flood AT&T Wanting Telecom Giant's Budget Plan

AUG 31,1999

NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- Phone lines to AT&T Corp. were flooded Tuesday with
customers eager to take the company's seven-cents-a-minute, all-day calling
plan.
Morning callers reported busy signals but AT&T said there were no problems
processing orders for the "AT&T One Rate 7 Cents" plan announced Monday. "We
anticipated the calls this would generate and are thoroughly prepared for it,"
he said. "Considering the fact that the advertising hasn't even started yet, we
had a great start. We had a very, very large number of calls."
AT&T's (T) plan follows nickel-a-minute long-distance calling plans already
offered by MCI WorldCom (WCOM) and Sprint Corp. (FON). Both of those plans
charge more for peak-time usage. AT&T will begin print and television
advertising for its plan Tuesday.
