Re: do you see a technical rebound on the averages in general or AMZN in particular?

No congrats expected or needed...............this is a market that can't be trusted as far as direction.

Re: QCOM
Is a stock that seems to defy any and all logic. I have been calling for a technical pull back since I was first asked to give an opinion about it several months ago. At that time it was trading about $125.<g>

The TA says although it's trend is still up and intact it is due for a pull back. In the mean while each day that passes makes any pull back likely to be at a higher level as its support level keeps rising.

I have not studied it's fundamentals but have heard it is being driven by some buyout or merger rumor. It reminds me of the way AOL was tracking 6 months ago.

I'll look at some charts and try to get a feel for the markets in general. When I checked them yesterday I did not see any bottoms forming which leads me to believe the late rally yesterday will not hold.
