Marcy's comments seem strangely out of line with the tenor of the rest of the comments today, both formal and informal. This couldn't be FUD, could it?

On the one hand we have Dell pledging 35-40% penetration and here we are told that Rambus chips won't be produced in mass quantities in the near future. Does not jive.

Whom do you trust?

From Bubbles article:

But Bert McComas, an analyst at technology research firm InQuest and a vocal Rambus critic, points out that the system Gelsinger showed off used an AGP 4X graphics chip, which few, if any, systems currently use. "No game, no content uses AGP in that way," McComas said.

Not yet they don't Bert, not yet.

But they will.

What a maroon. Would you hire this man to consult on the future of technology for you?
