Several recent posts have discussed the temptation to write covered calls on QCOM. Oscar Wilde said "I can resist anything but temptation". Two thirds of the current quarter is past and all indications are that it will be better than last quarters' pro forma .86/share. (If Q is smart they will hold some earnings in reserve. Hopefully they did it last quarter.) The analysts meeting in NYC on Sept. 15th is worth waiting for before writing new call options, unless you opt for a very conservative approach. My felling on T is that unless new technology is in the pipeline they will be compelled to a partial conversion to CDMA. Be patient: the trend is your friend. And don't forget the interest is accumulating on the $billion+ placement. Rick Benfield

marginmike: JG (not to be confused with JGoren)has to be new. Obviously hasn't ever read any of my questions! Good Luck to all tomorrow, hope to hear from a few more Quillionaires! Oh, I forgot, all the kings horses, and all the kings men, are selling all their Q again! Just in case: the previous was an attempt to be silly. Don't take it seriously! :)
