Coppermine is a microprocessor (a Pentium III). It uses a separate chipset (the 820, or Camino) to access memory. So Coppermine will access RDRAM through Camino.

i hate these technical questions...it is embarrassing me...

i lived in the northern nevada mountains. we had coppermines.

i never went in one...so i don't know if rambus is there or not!

but i heard that rambus is going to be in coppermines on oct 25.
