Robert: I agree with you. I just get annoyed when I continually hear that rising prices (and yes, the general level of prices is rising) is inflationary. It's the prior increase in money/credit that "allows" prices to rise. Example: we're told that the hourly cost of employees pay rises by 10 cents an hour and the market swoons, 'cause this is inflationary. That makes about as much sense as saying that when the Fed ups interest rates by 50 basis points it's inflationary...because the "cost" or price of money has just increased. Best to you. (Lee)
