Tommaso, I trade in and out. Lately the fund is much more forgiving on up days and performs well on neutral to down days - which hasn't always been the case.

BEARX was the #1 fund for 98's third quarter and looks even more promising for 99' - for reasons we're both aware of.

It looks like Tice including Gold in his portfolio was a master stroke. BEARX has been better than Rydex URSA by a factor of 2X for the last three months.
