They were NOT incendiaries they were pyrotechnics- they are not designed to start fires as I understand it - and according to the microphones the Davidians did start the fires- as well as shoot and cut the throats of some of the cult members inside. The "Tank" was a Bradley- and was inserting canisters of tear gas through a whole in the wall - the wall was poorly constructed and collapsed. They were inserting tear gas in order to try to flush the cultists out semi- peacefully. As for the women and children- I don't shoot 50 caliber rounds at federal agents carrying out there lawful duty (in this instance executing a warrant for arrest). Nor do I hang out with people who do this. If I did hang out with people who did that I would understand the risks. Which are obvious I think. That these women allowed their children to REMAIN in such danger convinces me they were NUTS- and frankly buttresses the case that the government made that the children were being abused. But that is not the main point for me. The main point is the warrant issue. I do not sympathize with anyone who stockpiles weapons and uses them against duly authorized government officials. Why? Because while I trust neither the Federal government nor Daivd Koresh, I trust the Feds MORE than David Koresh. Your last paragraph is so unclear I am not sure what you are saying so I just had to make a guess. If you want to believe it is a conspiracy go ahead. Don't let me stop you. But stupidity and bad luck are almost always the answers in messy fatal situations- not conspiracies
