william...ot ot ot interesting concept you set forth, why have "knowledge" of that which does affect your portfolio???? i prefer to be "aware", attempt to see the whole picture usually allows for a better vantage point. i doubt there are many elderly fixed income investors on si.... if "knowledge" is not what you seek...then why comment...exchange of ideas has taught me....because you don't do it, doesn't mean many others won't. venture to say you are in the minority. nuff said! ed a. p.s....if you don't care about options, why are you referencing links to the cboe web site?
