Don't get me wrong, Bob, I am not suggesting that Softbank doesn't have some magnificent investments in its portfolio, nor that its President doesn't maintain some key relationships.

The bigger point, however, is how able is Softbank to deliver on providing value added services other than purely funding $$$ to help drive value for their portfolio companies. Regardless of your contact base or portfolio, up and coming companies these days in the ebusiness space have very little tolerance for big resumes or contact lists, but limited ability to fulfill on the execution end of the spectrum...and that's the consensus suggests as to where Softbank fits in the current landscape.

It all boils down to your ability to execute, and they just don't have the resume for that at this point in time.
