PB, OT,

Re <<start-up like environment and mentality>>

I find that hard to understand. One of the main criteria for a "start up" is the stock options which can be worth millions if the business takes off. And the value of the stock options is based on success or failure of employees work. Intel stocks will not be worth 100 times its current value due to those guys successfull work, so not really a motivation to work harder. Infact in the foreseable future those guys success or failure will do little to INTC.

I let this end since it is OT. :)

Mani

PB, OT mostly, re your idea of Raza going to Intel's Network uP div., this could be something like Rick Belluzzo quitting as SGI CEO suddenly, and emerging as head of Microsoft's Internet opportunities div. I can't see it though. Probably take Raza too long to detox from the kamikaze against Intel mentality. Best of luck to Raza though.
