Idler, I agree with you but you usually can find out most of information by contacting the company and asking or through published reports that come out. Granted it is dated information by then,but that is less important if you already have a position and are just looking for news. Also, I find it takes the investment public a long time to fully understand good news. If they did, Qcom would have been this price after the March conference call. Maybe someday all events will be done over the internet. That trend has started for some events already.

I agree with you -- in fact, you may own many shares (although one share should be enough) and YOUR company tells you no.
