Now that we're of a certain age, we can understand why Reagan moved from being a member of the SDS to a conservative Republican. Even if we haven't gone that full route ourselves. I blush sometimes when I realize how much I knew when I was 20 and how certain I was of everything and about my obligation to lecture those ancient farts (of 50 or so!) on how the world really was and should be.
