No, and neither does the mining industry. After they complete the heap leaching they continue to saturate the pile with chemicals which neutralize any residual cyanide. Next, the heap leach pile is covered with soil and reseeded. These companies have to post bonds and they can't be released until they can prove that the cyanide has been neutralized and the pile has reached a maintainable state of revegetation.

If the haber process is used in heap leaching, they will have to follow the same procedure as to bonding and reclamation.
