What I am referring to is the reason Intel decided to accept such an apparently easy settlement with Digital " Yes - Intel got quite a bargain - the StrongARM design and Intellectual Property, the DEC Fab - from which Intel picked up a NICE PROCESS MODULE now used on the 0.18 microbn process - and a resolution to the Phony Law Suit. Compaq got the remains of DEC - and judging by the complete chaos at Compaq, Intel got a sweet deal - which is starting to bear fruit. Meanwhile, over at Compaq.....UGH ! Paul
