MMW,
Don't mistake me for a blind CSCO basher, just a liitle contrarian. for instance brother Juback says in one paragragh "But Cisco's revenue grew by 48% in its most-recent quarter. " and doesn't really exclude contributing revenue from aquired companies, and then turns around and says this.

"Overall sales to these big phone companies grew just fine -- up 25% from the year earlier (excluding sales resulting from the Ascend acquisition so that the numbers are comparable). But almost all of that growth came in international markets."
There are other slants, but it's not my darling even though it seems to be EVERYONE elses.
For instance I think the word Lucent needs to be replaced with Cisco, he just got through saying how csoc is priced at 3 times the multiple because of its growth %.

"Lucent, on the other hand, has a trail of worries following it. None of them adds up to a disaster by any means, but Lucent is an expensive stock and even a minor stumble will hit the price significantly. That's why the stock, while a solid performer, has nevertheless badly trailed Cisco."

regards
DHB
have a good day MMW

<<Hi Dan,
Check this out:
moneycentral.msn.com;

After recommending LSI over and over for a year at between 25-30, this guy bailed on LSI last fall at 13 (I did not bail). He made a very lucid and thougtful case for selling LSI. Less than one year later LSI is now 57 and change.
