Hello Mare - unlike others, I don't try to find explanations in NT [short term] stock movement, even though it is natural for shareholders to try to find some reasons to hang their faith with.

However, business competition aside, NT has the following 1) volume is not particularly robust. 4MM [post split] per day for a large cap is low relative to other large cap stars. This is important from the liquidity pov. Mr Cramer's situation is one such case. 2) while other large caps have european listings, NT is traded with equal volume on NYSE and TSE. 3) finally, being 41% owned by BCE, it is more prompted to be subject to hedging. To elaborate, I was reading the year end report of some mutual funds I have and noticed that they long BCE and short NT [this is one way of hedging anyway.]

Just my 2c
best, Bosco
