Frank, an analyst from First Union has come out and stated that QCOM will meet but not blow out estimates this Q, and that pricing in the handsets was deteriorating...

How about another perspective from an outsider?

disclaimer: I don't have qcom now...but I do think it's a great technology. I have bought and sold in the past few months. I traded some today.

The stock chart shows that the price has been a straight shot to the moon. Unless something really stinks out there, I'd guess this is just a normal correction/consolidation phase. Good or bad,,,these things happen. Without some consolidation and a move of the stocks from weaker hands into stronger hands, this thing can't keep going up.

Having said that, the move down 21 points must have been very well orchestrated this morning. Somebody just kept shorting it until 170 was reached. Interesting, to say the least.
