A variant of the medicine MSFT doles out to others when it wants to expand its revenue base. I hope MSFT finds the taste likable. The BIG difference here is that all IRON VENDOR benefit of this expansion of the Net's features. There's no guarantee that ISP will run Star server on Sun boxes. No need for monopoly investigation here.

Sun is giving Star away for free ... like Microsoft did with IE. Hmmm isn't that what Netscape and friends were complaining about.

Read this very slowly so that you understand... Sun doesn't have a monopoly position selling the operating system that the free software is to be used on...
