intel and rambus have done a magnificent job of setting this up. the idf announcements have awesome implications for rambus. it is 100% clear that intel supports rambus for the long haul...everything else is an interim solution while rdram production accelerates. and rmbs is going to skyrocket...think hockey stick!

it doesn't matter what intel says about pc133. they have made it clear, pc133 is a temporary replacement for sdram. it is not a replacement for rdram.

of course if intel denies pc133 support...rmbs skyrockets.

There are lot's of guidance papers out there. They change pretty often.

PC133 was never, then it was "being evaluated" now it's part of the road map and DDR is "being evaluated".

You've still got a lock on Sony and Nintendo, and Intel will keep trying for while on Rambus. If the costs come way down, quickly, Rambus could come back.
