Skeets, I have seen this kind of disconnect before, but not in memory chips; rather, in coffee beans, another commodity. I recall a ramp from 85 cents to over $2 one year that collapsed back to 90 cents or so. I was a Starbucks holder then so followed the news slightly -- Starbucks was hardly affected at all in that situation because they had contracts going out 12 months and so just stayed out of the market for a while.
