Mike, re: QCOM, they were downgraded today due to a slowdown in their growth rate...however, i believe they would have been dumped anyway. the ramp-up in recent days was end-of-month manipulation by the funds, nothing more. re: cycles, while the short term cycles are pointing up into mid September, larger cycles have recently crested and their influence may exert itself anytime. so i'm not so sure if we simply melt up from here, although it's of course possible. the rise in interest rates so far is definitely too small to hinder the mania, that much is certain.
