I know there was an outage and sounds like you had a bad time with it. From what you say, yes I think they could have done a lot better and I think your comments are probably accurate. I was only responding to my perception that you seemed rather rude rather than what you call abrupt.

Michael, I agree that maybe SI should have posted the time of the planned outage however I believe evening pacific time is the correct time. If they did it at say, midnight pacific time, thats already 3am EST. I would say it should be a requirement that SI is online by 7am EST or 4am PST - so not enough of a window there.
