and keep other monitor for actual trading.

I could buy two computers but I am limited by the dial up service .
one isp, one extra tel. line. I actually just ordered 3rd phone line.
dsl is not avail and my aol is barely giving me 56k

I do not mind spending mony on hardware as it's a one time cost.

my aol service cost me $22 + another phone line $22 = $44/month.

Yes, I had mentioned in my original post that Sonki could order an NT workstation from any vendor. The key is that Sonki would be running NT, don't know if that would be a showstopper for his/her software. Dell, Compaq, and IBM sell NT boxes that can be ordered with multiple monitor cards from Appian and Matrox.
