An excellent article in todays WSJ p.A26 by Scott McNealy on the NECESSITY and VALUE of outsourcing and service providers. The article is entitled "Why We Don't Want You To Buy Our Software". In essence he says business should only do "in house" what they do best. Outsourcing usually saves 10%-30% and more importantly leaves businesses free to concentrate on what they do best. This should be REQUIRED reading for the banks and circulated within the business press and community.
