Approximately 23 per cent of breat tissue has nothing to do with lactation, and even post menopausal and childless women retain significant enlarged breast tissue which no other female mammals do. It is generally agreed upon that female breasts are sexual organs. Many experts believe that many nursing women enjoy sexual stimulation from giving suck (the survival value of this behavior is obvious). I have lived with peoples who do not routinely cover their breasts. I assure you that breasts in such cultures that I have experienced retain their sexual function. Please note that there are peoples who do not conceal their genitals and yet the genitals retain their common function.
