capt - the shorts don't call the shots any more than those long. With 5 million shares short, there are effectively about 23 million shares long in the float (18 mil float + 5 mil short). Those holding the 23 mil long shares have an equal opportunity to sell just as shorts do. Likewise on the buy side. Glad I decided to part with my trading shares this AM. Sold between 100 and 102. Took a portion back at 94. My core holding remains unchanged though. Who was that that said they liked to volatility? I am starting to. OT - go CREE!
