Steve Harmon's Hot watch for the month is out...here are the changes:
I'm dumping E*Trade for two reasons: 1) Confidence in online brokers is
down thanks to predictions that trading volume may decline this quarter,
and 2) As the No. 2 online broker behind Charles Schwab, E*Trade does
not have the leverage and advantages accorded market leaders.

USWeb/CKS is being dropped simply because its stock has stagnated since
April, despite excellent Q2 earnings and a low price-to-revenue ratio.
For one reason or another, USWB has failed to capture the imagination of
Internet investors.

Taking their place on HotWatch for September are eToys, an online
retailer looking forward to a superb holiday shopping season, and Ramp
Networks, an Internet router company that is due to ride the wave of
enthusiasm for networking stocks.
