One comment about the Bank of America downgrade. Their analyst, Mark McKechnie, is the only analyst I have had the pleasure of talking to in my life. We talked at Wireless 99 in February (when QCOM was at 34 post-split) and he said that he thought that Nokia and Motorola were too strong as handset competitors in CDMA and that GSM was going to be the dominant technology anyway. I don't know how his rating got be a "strong buy" in between, but his comments today indicate that Everen's comments just reinforced his previous feelings.
