On beta I get a box ˜ instead of a foreign language character like ñ - [that's an n with a squiggle above it for me, in classic, on a mac].

Why should it be different from site to site?

...Mezz -

But what did Mezz intend the characters to be?

Good point. And, in fact, they aren't showing up as the characters he apparently intended them to be. In the old SI, they show up as n-tilde, cedira, e-acute, and u-umlaut. So it's the same problem you mention, just presented in a different way.

And, you're right, it isn't fixed. (test: ç)

Edit: Interesting. The two characters above were typed into the new SI as thorn and u-umlaut. They show up that way in the new SI, but as different characters in the old SI.

And notice this: Gast¢n Billetes. It works in the new SI when it's typed in that way.

"The €ow" is another one. I type it with my character map here and its fine. In classic its ok too.

But when I see him in beta it looks like "The ow"
