Partner Showcase - Overview
Until September 1996, Spyglass customers were mainly desktop software application vendors. Today, Spyglass provides expertise, software and services to a far broader and diverse mix of leading companies, including consumer electronic manufacturers, computer and operating system manufacturers, office equipment manufacturers, telecommunications companies and on-line service providers.
The evolution of the Spyglass customer base began in October 1996 when the company announced its intention to focus exclusively on the Internet device market. At the time, Spyglass' goal was to become the leading provider of Web-enabling software and services to the non-PC device marketplace. Since that time, Spyglass has demonstrated its ability to do just that by providing complete solutions to some of the world's leading enterprises.

In November 1997, Spyglass further enhanced its ability to make devices work with the Web by acquiring AllPen Software, a leading Internet systems integrator focused on non-PC devices. The acquisition significantly increased Spyglass' ability to deliver innovative solutions based on Windows CE, Java, wireless communications and other key technologies to its customers. This acquisition also brought Spyglass many new and leading customers, such as Daimler Benz, 3Com/Palm Division, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, Apple, Monsanto and Philips.

But perhaps the most encouraging trend of all is that Spyglass solutions are now Web-enabling an incredibly diverse set of products and services. In fact, Spyglass solutions are being built into televisions, set-top boxes, cellular phones, smart phones, office equipment, network computers, printers, industrial controls and Internet infrastructures. Furthermore, Spyglass is being hired to integrate mission critical Internet applications into unique and customized products. And finally, SurfWatch, our content-services division, has quickly become the market leader in the content filtering marketplace.

In summary, it is the combination of expertise, leading-edge technology and services which allows Spyglass to provide the most complete solutions in the industry. The following review of our customers is proof that Spyglass is Making Devices Work with the Webâ„¢.

Spyglass don't do 'synchronization software over internet' -software.
(I like more not to synchronize internet, but stuff over internet - wired or wireless.)
