Also, note that MSFT chose to sell these puts during one of the weakest weeks of the year.

Teflon, I sense something happening as well. They might be thinking get the options sales out of the way before some good news hits the market and the stock shoots up.

I am about to shift out of a little Intel (my largest holding) to buy more MSFT and make it the largest.

Another Microsoft Internet exec departs

One of Microsoft Corp.'s key Internet-strategy architects, Ben Slivka, has departed from Microsoft, reports The Seattle Times. Slivka, general manager of Microsoft's Consumer and Commerce Group, left Microsoft last Friday to join Amazon.Com, starting next week. Slivka, a 14-year Microsoft veteran, is the latest in a long line of Microsoft execs to depart the company for greener pastures. -- Mary Jo Foley, Sm@rt Reseller
