Thanks, yes this article is correct. I am putting in an order for the 450MHz model which is the new board design and it sounds like I won't see it for a month or so. Even I can not justify the 550MHz model as a toy. My eyes are not that good.<ggg> It would not surprise me that this model could have some problems but my past experience with apple has been great with replacements if they have problems. I had power supplies replaced on both my Lisa and 128K Mac. They came to my house....to replace them. Also had a problem with my quadra CD and they came to my house to put in a new one. This at no cost to me. I know--I know the PC folks will say I am paying a high price for the unit and that I am paying for this kind of service.

We are just Mac junkies at this house. I had to use PC's at a few places where I worked and I suspect I will go to my grave never buying one to use myself. Among other life experiences I worked for a few years as a developer of Operating Systems and Microsoft, In My Opinion, has no clue as to what a seamless OS is. <ggg>
