I read it everywhere. "The rumor at deafening level...", courtesy by the street, May 99. The last thing what Siemens said about the rumor was that they "rule it out". Btw, Siemens has to put its own things together, the infineon IPO, and another spin off (passive elements). Would be nice to see CS acquired. I agree that, without a soon takeout, CS has not the best odds, and at it is Siemens who is one of the very few possible acquirors. btw. Remains Cien, any thoughts on that?
