Dan,
I agree with Haim.
I believe most stocks you can sell now and get a bargain in December.
If you own good companies (not highflyers) that you are unwilling to part with cause they are at a bargain price already, you can try BEARX as a hedge.
I recommend BEARX not only as a defensive position, but also as a good shot at making money from the market's decline.
