Hi Rainier, Congratulations! That is most respectable. Those short picks were a bit problematic for me, but actually ended up as my biggest percentage gainers. I ended up some 20 places behind you at 76th with an 8% overall gain. That is down from 10th after the first week, but at one time I was around 180th. I'm not sure I could do any better now, but I'd sure like to try. My picks: Long NETP NETG PFE I thought the secondary internet stocks might get some attention. Maybe someday, but not this summer. PFE was looking promising and the drug sector was moving up. Well, it moved a little. Short TMSR: Has floorless conversion financing. EBAY: What is there that makes this company worth anything? In real life, I would not short, but I do watch in disbelief. JP: Pulled this out of the hat by PnF chart. Didn't pan out. I don't think they have any special recognition, except for the winner. At least they didn't for the last contest. Did you sign up for the next contest? I passed on it as I will be going back to sea in just over a week and won't be back 'till Thanksgiving (or thereabouts). I saw your call on SBUX. I'll be interested to see how it does in the next couple of months. I thought of getting it myself but got some RMBS instead. I'll compare the two when I get off the ship. Finally, congratulations on your test results. Too bad they don?t give you scores. I'll bet you smoked everyone. Jay
