Tom, thanks for retrieving the background info from RB on Alyce's projections. She is assuming 350 kids per school, 6 cards per kid, $4.50 to TSIG. This results in $9450 per school. If a school is committed to use the MusicCard for a school-wide fundraiser, 350 kids per school is very low. As mentioned before, the possibilities are school-wide (800-1200 students), large organizations such as band or athletic groups (75-125 kids), and clubs (20-40 kids). Whether we will ever get a breakdown like this, I don't know. One thing that became evident after my last conversation with the high school asst. principal is that results from fundraisers can vary widely even when the school, the community, and the product remain constant. If you assume 1 school-wide, 1 large organization, and 1 club, the average is 443 kids. So it seems to me that no matter how you slice it, 350 kids is a conservative number. Regards, Suzanne

Tom, another assumption Alyce made is 6 cards sold per kid. My first reaction is that is an optimistic number. But if you remember, my elementary school principal said his 900 kids from a lower SES background sold $50,000 worth of "junk." This is $55 of sales per kid. Six cards per kid is certainly doable, but I wouldn't characterize this number as conservative. I also believe you will see a higher sales per kid in the smaller organizations. Regards, Suzanne
